@TeamYouTube I was unsubscribed to a channel I watch regularly and comment on every time they post a new video. Care to explain why??

@TeamYouTube why is it every time I upload a new video I lose hundreds of subscribers? Earlier this year I had 85k, now I'm down to 82k. Care to explain that? It's very discouraging.2 replies 1 retweet 8 likesShow this thread -

To clarify, Subscriber Count fluctuations are normal. In addition to user subscribes and unsubscribes, YouTube adjusts subscriber counts around the clock to remove any inactive or illegitimate subscriptions.

Case in point, I was UNSUBSCRIBED to my favourite youtuber this week, inspite of being very active on their channel, commenting regularly. If you claim these fluctuations are normal, why do I find myself unsubscribed to my favorite channel?

That doesn't seem right–can you send us screenshots and details of what you're seeing and we'll go from there. Thanks!

How many subscriptions do you have? If it's a really large number that may cause issues with the display of the sub button. We're currently working to improve this! Rest assured that notifications and subs feed updates are not impacted by this issue.

...As I said in the original tweet to you, I have 82K subs, but at the beginning of the year I had 85k.
