Been trying to understand this lately when I realized people call science/evidence “one theory among many”. It’s interesting, this fundamental misunderstanding, because theory plays such a large role in science, yet that thinking is so flawed that it is dangerous.

Part of it is misunderstanding of the word "theory" as it is used in science. Non-science people often interpret it to mean "hypothesis," or worse, "opinion."

There are things that are up for debate and there are then there are realities vs delusion/denial. I refuse to let anyone challenge the absolute truths in this world and if you try to deny pink starbursts are the best, get ready to catch some hands

Sometimes there are no two sides. Facts are facts and journalists need to accept that and stop with the false premise. I prefer red but pink is my second favorite

I was with you all the way until you went way off the rails with the red. I just cannot.pic.twitter.com/deSCOOiqSW
