What % communication loss is there between two people in a verbal conversation? Between unclear word choices, differences in the preloaded constructs in each party’s head, and differing emotions and incentives it feels like it averages to north of 20%? Curious what others think.

More straightforwardly now, people's neuroplasticity is more flexible than is understood. At least to my knowledge, I'm unaware of anyone that gets this point quite right. I wasn't simply "trolling" with my Deepak Chopraesque and "The Secret" musings. I'm teaching by doing.

What is really the purpose of conversation? It's to optimize both parties' knowledge sets. What is the limiting factor? Emotions. To trivialize is to distance. To exoticize is to align. Rhetoric is the ultimate art. As with anything, trying and failing suffices for success.

Whatever task you set for yourself, persistence and patience alone will crack its enigma. Modulating your approach until you find the right keys, is the way to decrypt people's values. The world is unstoppable, we can't hold it at bay, the only thing to do is to shape it.

Conversation is about timing. It's about observance. It's about conscious refinement even as it takes place. It's about predicting the next reply. And then preempting it. It's about understanding what drives people. Simplifying the mess in their heads. Establishing common ground

It's about establishing a hierarchy. Revealing it through the ease with which you handle their resistance. It isn't enough to merely fend off attacks, you have to also go to people's castles, and then await invitation at the gates. Conversation is both intimate and warlike.

A fine balance which has its beauty and purpose. The perfect way to converse is to generate your likeness into others, such that their differences can sharpen you like a blade. Conversations are lessons. Understand one person, and you better understand their entire like.

Convincing one person, is generating change in all people. People respect patterns. Understanding their patterns is being able to break them. It's an invisible force which enacts the butterfly effect, but it's one which absorbs awareness like a sponge. It's the Pattern of all
