This Flag—which represented the Confederacy (those who fought AGAINST America over their “right” to own black people) during the Civil War—didn’t enter the Capitol building ONCE during that time (1861-1865). It entered it for the first time in history during Trump’s attack.
Carrying the Confederate flag into the Capitol is carrying an enemy flat into the Capitol...and yes, that person should be arrested. There should've been hundreds and hundreds of arrests...and whoever's responsible for fewer is part of the coup attempt.

I don’t think that is the case about the arrests; underestimating the risk based on political profile is true, but knee-jerk policebashing is not really the issue here.
They KNEW what was being planned and did nothing to prevent it. They treated these mostly white terrorists with kid gloves, they escorted groups through the gate barriers...tell me why we SHOULDN'T call them out or "bash" them for this unprecedented failure?
