For years, youth in Pakistan have organised to demand #climateaction. The world is failing them. Wealthy countries have a responsibility to support low-emitting countries like Pakistan after deadly floods.
Image shows the 2019 Climate Strikes in Islamabad, Pakistan. A white rounded text box is centered at the top. One line reads "climate change = human rights catastrophe". The next line, in bigger text, reads "solidarity with Pakistan". The amnesty logo in yellow at the top-right of the image.

China says that #Xinjiang is a “land of happiness”... That’s far from the truth. In reality, the draconian repression of Uyghurs, Kazakhs and other Muslim minorities is ongoing & amounts to crimes against humanity.

Guillermo was a cleaner at Facebook's offices when he was fired after protesting against poor working conditions. Facebook is a powerful company. It shouldn’t punish workers for speaking out. Support Guillermo & demand cleans up its act 👉 amn.st/6014MJlny
A visual of a mobile phone that displays a fake Facebook status from Guillermo. The status reads: "We worked throughout the pandemic. We kept Facebook’s offices open. But now @Facebook is trying to wash their hands of us and say we are nothing to do with them." Below the status is an image of the protest outside Facebook's offices. The backdrop against the mobile phone is yellow with Facebook's famous 'like' - i.e thumbs up icon - all pointing thumbs down.

Victims of enforced disappearance are people who have literally disappeared They go missing when state officials (or people acting with state consent) grabs them & then denies it, or refuses to say where they are ⚠️ Human Rights Defenders are at risk of being disappeared

The background is composed of 3 panels: a window of a destroyed room facing a tree in a residential building target of an airstrike by Russian forces in Borodyanka, a picture of a missile hole in a playground in Kharkiv, a picture of a residential building in Serhiivka targetted by an anti-ship missile by Russian forces. The names of the 3 towns are at the bottom of each picture. 2 banners are spread across the panels. One, in white and a dark blue highlight, it says "Yesterday marked 6 months of Russia’s war of aggression in Ukraine". It's welcome news that the police have dropped the prosecution of protesters at #SarahEverard’s vigil last year - but they should never have been put through the ordeal in the first place. The right to protest is fundamental to a free and fair society.
