Would you invite the president?
Inviting the farthest right person you can find to speak at your uni because doing so tests free speech principles isn't productive. Why not invite reasonable markets ppl or reasonable conservatives? Bringing haters just confirms undergrads' stereotypes.

Because sending far right speakers to far left campuses moves the Overton Window so the center is actually the center.

What exactly is "far right"? Every example I've heard is somebody who advocates using government force. That is a leftist by definition. I need a good example.

Different people define terms differently. "left" and "right" are maybe best treated as names for vague clusters?

I would not categorize
@benshapiro or @MikeSAdams as "haters". They tend to be more old-school conservatives, closer to Reagan than to Trump.
