Antitrust tries to predict which companies will get big enough to eat the future, and then stop those companies. But it so often picks wrong.

Government monopolies are bad, but corporate monopolies, in which citizens don't even get to vote for change are ok? That's some awesome cognitive dissonance.

it’s not off topic at all. if ATT/TWC own the infrastructure that delivers their control, it is a guarantee that they will promote their own content to the detriment of competitors. if you have TWC maybe your HBO GO app never lags but the NFLX app won’t stop buffering
