I want to add; I admire Walter Reuther greatly. Conservatives should not vilify past leaders, they should learn from them.
This is an excellent point. It is really at the philosophical core of what conservatism is and aspires to be.
That's part of what I like about reading your books, you don't just say "these are the good guys and those over there are the bad guys". After reading your book I came away with a healthy respect for Reuther and what he was trying to accomplish.
