You should elaborate. I don't see the connection. Testing doesn't guarantee anything and shouldn't bear on our confidence in "economic intercourse".
With each day that the COVID tests are not widely and genuinely available to both individuals and via groups, the govt facilitates trust building and big business concentration at a rate even the evil-est robber baron could not conceive. Small business runs out of money first.

Not sure where you get your facts, but in my area tests, both swab and blood, are available. There is no longer a shortage. The big commercial labs like Quest and LabCorp have excess capacity. Maybe government labs have a problem. But, private enterprise has proven successful.

"widely" = inexpensive for an asymptomatic individual Not the case in my area. Such is needed for confidently-safe, local/non-web-based, small-business economic interaction. The alternative is starved small businesses and greater market concentration for big players.

I would have liked a test many weeks ago, because the knowledge would have facilitated better policy. Since my governor (DeWine) is under the spell of his collectivist labcoat-imaginary-cape-wearing sidekick and will not change course in time, I do not even want to be tested now.
