Wrong vocab: "hoard"; "profiteer"; "safe"; "gouge". If someone is supposed to reduce trips to supermarket until we are all "safe," he tends to buy in bulk, and risks being shamed as a hoarder. Hoarding is not always panicking; it can be a market decision by consumer, vendor.

Funny story, Amity, on one of our neighbors...his wife was panicked and wanted to head to the store to get basics food, toilet paper etc...he hemmed and hawed but told his wife she didn't need to worry...he had secretly been keeping a 3 year supply of food without telling her.
