More young people got it (probably from ski trips) and since they don't live with their grandparents, there's relatively little cross-generational contact like there is in Italy, where multi generations live in the same house.

My bet is the US will eventually test a greater % of the population (as well as antibody tests that will tell us post infection they had it)....as well as better treatments for the infected. My bet of .<5% lethality is against the consensus....will see.

My bet is less than .1% otherwise we'd have seen all case mortality increase everywhere. It hasn't anywhere even in Italy. Adding a disease with higher mortality would have increased all case mortality. This has been a farce.

I think it is a statistical/sampling error. They have some issues with not testing people who have died (before being tested).

Germany and US are both seeing about 1 death/million as of today. Worldometer shows Germany w/ 84 deaths; US w/ 340.
