We need a historian! The Spanish flu is always eclipsed by the War in most history books. Is there any chance you could provide an essay or tweetstorm about the isolation measures taken in 1918? Were they more strict or less strict than now? Were there constitutionality lawsuits?

Thank you, Amity! My Dad grew up in Chelsea, Mass, born in 1923 so just five or so years after this photo was taken. I just printed out the photo and will take it to him (96 years old) when I see him tomorrow morning. Again, many thanks!
