I love when someone attempts to legitimize harm to people who use pain medicine by citing a lack of evidence it works (with some qualification or other), as if the substance slipped through the testing cracks at the FDA, and as if it hasn't been used since the dawn of Man, etc.

This is a preview of socialism. Any and all decisions will be made by 'the leader'.

No it’s not.
You have a strange definition of socialism. What you describe is a dictatorship.2 réponses 0 Retweet 0 j'aime -

...which is where socialism leads, because of the way we grow knowledge. We can't map out a utopia and task a group of gods with the authority to use violence to force the equal distribution of resources and wealth to all. We've already trended too far in the wrong direction.

I think it's time to stop fearmongering re socialism. We can't map out a utopia/anything & anything can go wrong. Look @ what we have now. We already have a few socialistic programs(SS) Dems want to add few, but they LIKE YOU would never agree to US as socialistic country!

Fearmongering? No. Just historical facts. Turning over the management of one's life to a single entity is a Human disaster. Lost are ambition, accomplishment and more in exchange for one's freedoms. As for socialism and its economical effects, read "The Forgotten Man", A Shlaes
