The question isn't "who deserves what?" It's "what system leads to the greatest prosperity for the masses?" A free market system with strong property right is the answer. If it leads to some people being obscenely wealthy, that's fine with me.

Indeed. Who has the right to decide who "deserves" what? Nobody. Those who think they have that right are suffering from the fatal conceit, and liquidating the kulaks is not far off. This outlook is also obviously based on a false understanding of the economy as a zero-sum game.
