Profs are role models. Their rights (first amendment, other) are not the topic. Topic is damage of profs' deportment. Profs teach kids to ignore facts or context. Your tweet made me think you’d never gotten a degree. Your bio states otherwise. If a professor ever hurt you, you should report it to the police rather than extrapolate that to all academics.
Not sure you read what I wrote. We're talking about professors who step out in public to call names. The point is: stick to substance! There's plenty to argue, both sides.
