Amity Schlaes book "Coolidge" is hands down the best biography I read on him. Fun trivia: Cal and First Lady Grace Coolidge were huge animal lovers, and their pet raccoon Grace was the nation's only First Raccoon!

It's an outstanding book. I've read several bios of every POTUS and now working my way through bios for each FLOTUS. Ms Shlaes "Coolidge" was an excellent, unbiased and rich biography, unlike too many presidential/First Lady bios which are, bluntly, awful!
