Harry S Truman was ahead of his times in terms in his push for equal treament for women and African-Americans. I had never learned these facts until my dad talked about his integration into the Air Force by Truman order. Harry S Truman was a Christian man influenced by his mom.

The beautiful thing about Harry S Truman was that he was able to change when he begin to see the facts of excellence of many who were oppressed. We all have biases but, we also have the potential for change. The stereotypical narratives we embrace are falsely conceived.
