Good to see mayor Pete has no clue. The way we deliver and pay for healthcare is fundamentally broken. Only industry where “insurance “ is primary way to fund. Until we deconstruct the system, it will remain broken.

Private insurance Members have subsidized Medicare and Medicaid, underfunded problem insurance programs, for decades. Without private insurance providing subsidies in payments to hospitals and doctors, Medicare would have been restructured decades ago.
