Well, for me, each emotion flares in color. Anger is a campfire of dancing reds, oranges, and yellows. Sadness an ocean of deep blues and foamy white. Envy is deep rainforests with sporadic clearings. I see emotions in oscillating versions of their ‘typical’ colors.

Your descriptions are beautiful! Emotion is an oscillation of color: the tint and shade of of the color associated with it. But what if, to me, colors represent different emotion? What if I see blue and brown as love? Would that not be confusing?
