  China never seeks hegemony? I beg to differ, Ambassador Liu. Surpassing US and UK has been China's ambition since Mao's time, isn't it? "Made in China 2025" is an ambitious project. There is nothing wrong being ambitious. That's not what the West object anyway.

  The more any politicians lie and cheat the more it reaffirms the need for rule of law & democratic institutions so that they can be held accountable. That's totally the opposite of what the CCP represents.
