  2. This Taliban propaganda should infuriate all Americans. As predicted, they are emboldened by our withdrawal, and now we can expect the full spectrum of Jihadists to begin plotting against the US from Taliban Afghanistan. It is pure fantasy for Biden to think otherwise.

  3. Latest from the 'changed' Taliban: "When Osama bin Laden became an issue for the Americans, he was in Afghanistan. Although there was no proof he was involved in 9/11." Afghanistan will once again become a haven for terrorists and any it's foolish to believe otherwise.

The Taliban’s takeover in Afghanistan elevates the risk that Pakistani extremists will increase influence, or threaten to seize control. Pakistan could have well over 100 nuclear weapons, which in the hands of an extremist regime is an unthinkable threat.

Among the many profound ramifications of our exodus from Afghanistan, we face the threat of a future terrorist regime in Pakistan that may transfer nuclear capabilities to terrorists. Is Biden ready for preventive action? Probably not.

Was Afghanistan worth it? Destroying al Qaeda and ousting the Taliban was necessary. Declinists should think long and hard about the implications of a real “coming home” of American power. They’re going to miss us when we’re gone. More here:

Former US National Security Adviser John Bolton says the decision to withdraw troops from Afghanistan was a "catastrophic mistake", adding "I think we're going to pay for this for a long time". Latest:

On withdrawal from Afghanistan, Trump and Biden are like Tweedledee and Tweedledum. While Biden bears responsibly for bungling the implementation, I have no confidence Trump would have executed it any more competently. It's been a catastrophe that's only going to get worse.

Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper said he was concerned that then-President Donald Trump "undermined" the US' 2020 agreement with the Taliban by pushing for US forces to leave Afghanistan without the Taliban meeting the conditions of the deal.

The American people understand the folly of Biden's stubborn retreat. found pluralities of voters opposing the Afghanistan withdrawal if it meant a Taliban takeover or al Qaeda returning. Our country understood the mission & the price of abandoning our interests.

Biden's confession that he sees the unfolding chaos in Afghanistan as validating our retreat is outrageous. This is not an Afghan civil war. We ceded control to a terrorist threat that now endangers innocent US citizens, as before 9/11. This is a huge, potentially fatal mistake.

This Trump-Biden withdrawal is a big mistake. Beijing and Moscow they are laughing. Tehran and Pyongyang have seen that the Administration is credulous when it comes to claims by devoted adversaries of the United States. It makes us look like we're suckers.

It seems inevitable that the Taliban will allow Al-Queda, ISIS, and other terrorist groups we haven't even heard of yet to find sanctuary in Afghanistan. It's just intolerable that we've allowed this to happen.

Biden's bungled Afghan exit is a calamity for America & the West. After four aberrant years of Trump, Biden pledged competent leadership. Now his credibility also lies in tatters. Already a tragedy for the Afghan people, this situation may only get worse.

This horrific image may become the iconic picture of the Trump-Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan. It appears the situation in Kabul remains desperate with US forces in harm's way. Let's remember the many Americans bravely doing their jobs under the worst of circumstances.

Biden's unfolding Afghanistan tragedy is an embarrassment. US policy should be no aid whatsoever to any Afghan government that includes the Taliban. The strategic implications of this surrender will not be lost on Russia, China, Iran, & North Korea.

This didn't age well --> President Biden, July 8, 2021: "The likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely."

We're not in Afghanistan to build their nation. We're there to protect ours. And Biden's retreat from Afghanistan, our unforced exit, is a surrender of the strongest capability we have for defending the American homeland from terrorist attacks. It’s a terrible mistake.
