Just returned to DC. As the Chinese side said, the Anchorage dialogue in the past two days was candid, constructive and helpful. China and the U.S. have differences in many fields, but such differences only justify more effective exchanges and communication in the future.

I agree. In spite of subsequent reporting by msm, expectedly colored by sensationalism and negative innuendos, the Anchorage meeting was a step in the right direction. A dialogue must start somewhere. The first step happened.
