Anyway the important thing here isn’t that Howard Schultz favorably compared being a Starbucks employee to being in a concentration camp, the important thing here is that Starbucks corporate is trying to stop @SBWorkersUnited from unionizing.

I’m sorry I’m just flummoxed. I am pretty sure “don’t compare your employees favorably to Holocaust survivors” is on page 1 of the “How To Get Away With Exploiting Laborers” handbook.

What I’m taking away from this anecdote is that concentration camp victims should not have to share literal blankets and Starbucks employees should not have to share metaphorical blanketed, and yet the people how have all the blankets refuse to acknowledge this.https://twitter.com/noamscheiber/status/1457907174571708417 …
