    Some folks are saying I won for “demographic” reasons. 1st of all, that’s false. We won w/voters of all kinds. 2nd, here’s my 1st pair of campaign shoes. I knocked doors until rainwater came through my soles. Respect the hustle. We won bc we out-worked the competition. Period.

    And remembering 's decision to NOT sign the discharge petition in 2014 and then voted AGAINST the DREAM Act in his state seat. For anyone who believes cares, show me proof where he's courageously protected Deamers, children being deported, etc.

    Yesterday, & House Republicans failed to pass their "compromise" bill. That's 2 failed attempts & an abandoned discharge petition in 2 weeks. They can't get anything done. Our immigration system is broken. We must & solve this crisis
