If you’ve watched the Jon Stewart testimony, follow it with this. I remember standing at Logan with the counter staff in sobbing heaps. We are spitting on the legacy of those who broke through fear and risk of death to serve by not being there for them now.

Read this whole thread. If you can't afford to—or don't want to—tip your servers or bartenders (or delivery drivers!), just eat and drink at home.

Biden was given an opportunity earlier this year to reflect on his past behavior with women and reassess it. If he'd done so, a lot of people would have been eager to hear it. He emphatically rejected that path.

Grace's dad, Chicago police Cmdr. Paul Bauer, was killed in the line of duty. Amelie's dad, Donald Liu, drowned saving 2 boys in Lake Michigan. Now the girls have teamed up to build a community for other teens who've lost a parent.

“They responded in five seconds. They did their jobs…18 years later, do yours!” Jon Stewart represents all of America when he's talking about the heroes of 9/11, so why don't our elected officials? Use to contact your electeds and tell them to do their damn jobs.

Over the moon to have been involved with the Human Restoration Project. Helping to start a school wasn't something I planned for but thankful for the experience and the outcome. We are the system and our ideas and work will shift it.
