We did act differently. Sotomayor ring a bell? Elena Kagan? Obama did two and it was his job to do so. We didn't like either of them, but ITs the president's JOB. Merrick Garland was kicked to the curb for the Thurmond rule, lame duck president's last year.

Sure it does. Ill use smaller words. 1) Obama appointed TWICE (Elena Kagan and Sotomayor) to the Supreme court. It was his JOB even if we didn't like it. Republicans DID act differently, they didn't protest, because its the presidents JOB (Obama) to appoint.

So 3) either you don't realize Obama appointed KAGAN and SOTOMAYOR as Supreme Court Justices, or are too young and only remember Garland. Obama must be your first president, but this is their job. And adults accept it. 300 years of it this way, you get another turn in 2020
