The dashboard in Ohio is essentially *worthless* - lists each individual provider, then within those providers, you have to go to each specific location to check availability (example, if you choose Kroger, then you have to go through each nearby Kroger to check) 2/?

Then, most require you to make an account, but if you already have your own account (say me for Walgreens) I have to then make new accounts for each of my parents as there is no way they will be able to navigate this expediently on their own. 3/?

If you call the 1-800s instead - say if you're elderly or don't have access to the Internet - they just send you back to the websites ... a never-ending circular process. 4/?

The eligibility age in Ohio dropped to 65 today from 70 - my parents are 69 - but none of the vaccine providers will schedule an appointment yet for someone under 70 because the state hasn't gotten them enough vaccines to complete 70+ individuals. 5/?

Again, this is for one who has a serious health condition and an upcoming surgery. It's supremely frustrating and very disheartening and I hope states flailing at this (Ohio) can take some cues for those where it is going more smoothly. :-( 6/6

I am trying to schedule for parents & inlaws. Ohio’s system is beyond frustrating. Said inlaws spent hours on the phone last week without success in scheduling even though they are over 70.
