We keep telling you how to beat him. We helped to defeat Trump. We did a lot of good in this last election. But if you think the secret here is to listen to AOC and move to the left, then we’re all going to be right back in this situation four years from now. Flat learning curve.

I was a Republican for 35 years and saw the republican party become the majority party at all levels of government. So, yes, it’s exactly based on that experience.

None of y’all have had big wins in the Republican Party of trump. That’s what matters now. It is a new ballgame.

I have been advocating for defeating the Republican party and Trump since 2015. For a reporter, you need to go catch up on some basic research. I considered 2018 win win, because I advocated for voting straight ticket against the Republicans back then, too. /1

But if you cannot understand how the Republicans managed to capture all the elected branches of government and a majority of elected offices right down to local city councils, then you really don’t understand a whole lot about American politics just yet. /2x

What I understand is this & then I’m gonna go enjoy my Sunday: your cohorts are taking credit for something that there’s no evidence was bc of you and not the POC and activists working on this long before u were on scene. It’s very on brand. If you wanna win, leave ego at door.

For someone here defending AOC, “leave ego at the door“ is a fairly amusing comment. Sort of.

I’m not a member of the Democratic caucus so I’ll leave it to the members of that caucus to enlighten you about why someone in a safe seat should not be making life hard for people who have to struggle in purple or red districts.

Even your language is incredibly paternalistic and condescending. Most of you don’t see it. Have a lovely day.
