I was a Republican for 35 years and saw the republican party become the majority party at all levels of government. So, yes, it’s exactly based on that experience.

None of y’all have had big wins in the Republican Party of trump. That’s what matters now. It is a new ballgame.

I have been advocating for defeating the Republican party and Trump since 2015. For a reporter, you need to go catch up on some basic research. I considered 2018 win win, because I advocated for voting straight ticket against the Republicans back then, too. /1

But if you cannot understand how the Republicans managed to capture all the elected branches of government and a majority of elected offices right down to local city councils, then you really don’t understand a whole lot about American politics just yet. /2x
