With you. Feeling so patriotic and proud of people exercising their right and responsibility. No doubt this has been a hard season in the American experiment but it has also been that has filled me with hope.

I hate that we have the same fight every election. Fellow whites, the right to vote is not exclusively ours. But the idea of America, that light up ahead -- never entirely lived up to but never abandoned except by the current "president" -- *that* always feels like a new miracle.
