Note that all the Judiciary Cmtee Republicans announcing quarantines are for 10 days and not the 14 recommended by medical experts. I wonder what happens in 10 days...

10 if you are positive. 14 if you are exposed (and waiting out incubation). This hasn’t changed. Believe me, I wish we could keep the Senate from meeting until February, but these senators who tested positive, technically only need to isolate for 10 days IF they are symptom-free

It’s 14 days for quarantine (meaning you were exposed to COVID, but didn’t test positive) 10 days for isolation (meaning you tested positive) The shorter time is because you don’t have the incubation period to contend with.
