Call me old fashioned but debates are to educate voters, not entertain anyone. Doesn't matter what the shelf like is, candidates should take them seriously.

In the first debate, I loved @LisaForMaine's answer about defunding the police in which she makes the apt comparison to the defunding of public education. If we can give our teachers lower pay, we can give cops less military equipment.
