It’s really illustrating what talented comms professionals have told me: negative ads that try to shame voters are not going to work. At least not on women. They will tune it out or even double down. They don’t like talking politics; they don’t like being talked down to even more

Swing voters in general, and esp women, don’t love talking politics according to studies. They think it’s divisive and tend to shut it down or just agree to end the convo.
