At Starbucks drive-thru earlier, I got to the window to pay and they told me the car ahead of me had paid for mine. I remarked how nice that was. They said the car ahead of THAT car had paid for them. Obviously I paid for the car behind me to keep it going. HAPPY MONDAY!
The only one who really ends up paying extra money - assuming there isn't a car ordering for 10 people or something - is the first person who pays for both their own and the next person's.
