The Vogue piece overthinks the Lincoln Project's efforts for the purpose of getting out 3,000 words. They aren't running the Biden campaign. It's just a facet of the discussion. I don't think women hear the whispery voice and say "Ugh, I'm voting for Trump."
It’s Glamour and was 2,000 words. The Lincoln Project just hauled in $16.8 million. How many voters minds will they change per dollar?
