Same. I love trees. The beach is awesome to visit, but it’s not my people. Venice is very different than it was 20 years ago. Tech bros abound.
I prefer the hills. The light is beautiful. And nice hills in Silver Lake and Echo Park. And I like the food and bars a lot better too. You will find people who live in SM still don’t go to the beach daily unless you can afford to live RIGHT on it.

Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and EP are over. The same type of people move there year after year seeking a curated community. It creates cultural conformity. No innovation in restaurant and art scene because it all tries to be on brand. Everything feels vapid
