Many k-pop fans are American teenagers. If you track on online platforms, there is a huge cross section of US youth that are members of the BLM and K-pop communities. These aren’t Russian bots.

Also it's not like even if they were South Korean (which like you say many of them aren't) they were being funded by or ordered to do this by the South Korean government. So this may be the dumbest "foreign interference" take I've seen.
