I think whether you were hearing about that in college depends a lot on your college and age - I am 40 and went to Indiana University for undergrad. I'm not sure my classes - and I took a lot of history & pol sci - ever mentioned 'white privilege.'

I respect that! And I keep having to remind myself of that. It’s a struggle though, because ive seen acts of racism on my college campus, in the workplace & in the news. It’s everywhere. Colin Kaepernick took a knee 4 years ago. Too many white women didn’t ask why.That’s a choice

Agree. Getting serious about this now does not absolve past willful ignorance. But I look at the numbers in the polls that Amanda cited and think we have never been in a moment like this before. What remains to be seen is whether tangible change will come from this "awakening"
