Part of the issue is that a lot of people use BIPOC when they really mean just Black. If the thing you are talking about only or disproportionately impacts Black people, it’s a form of erasure to lump that into the term BIPOC.
Oh totally see that and agree that usage is not even accurate. Was wondering if there are overall objections to the term.
I *think* most objections are because people use it when it would be more accurate to say Black, as if calling someone Black was bad or something.
