The options are: 1. Doesn’t know a basic part of modern history 2. Knows it, used it anyway.
Not to make excuses for him, because he's way better at it than I am, but there's also #3. He ran out of space. Of course, anyone in our biz would have found a way to cut somewhere else to fit in "Secret Service," lest there be any ambiguity about it.
