one of those went ripping through main street in my little AZ hometown - bouncing off curbs and creating a ruckus before the cops put a stop to it. (at least he wasn't heavily armed...)

Not the same, but my hometown in Nebraska hosts mud races in the summer--they dig a trench, fill it with water, and race their trucks through it. Good times.
