I was thinking she must have been better written in the book. There’s just nothing sympathetic, relatable, or redeeming about her character here. I wouldn’t want to read a whole book with her in it-unless she’s like totally transformed by the end. I don’t like her. Not at all.
I remember feeling a lot more sympathetic towards Mia in the book version of Little Fires Everywhere.
