except that you can't ever actually be anywhere but at work. Home is work is home. Drawing lines for when you can and can't be available is really hard.
What if the unexpected upside to all of this is that the line between work/home life is crossed & workers no longer have to keep pretending they don't have partners & children & parents to care for?! Imagine! A step towards work-life balance in the US of A!

I think you both have excellent points fwiw. But I also feel like those boundaries are obliterated by phones regardless. Our generation needs to fight to reinstall them.
