I don't believe in the ability of affluent white women to lead a feminist movement in such a way that: 1) is intersectional 2) truly understands & addresses the reality & scope of white patriarchy & rape culture 3) centers the experiences of poor women & women of color

Would it be naive to suggest that the leadership of the movement be composed of women of different races, ages, religions and socioeconomic circumstances?

. All WW need to be aware of the much harder, rougher path Racism inflicts on WOC's pursuit of equality. While we white women have one less obstacle than our sisters of color, all women experience inequality regardless of affluence.

Curious...why can't this just be a 'Woman' issue and leave class, culture, race out of it and show people how to be united as opposed to always divided in everything? I'm a #MeToo survivor and I'm sure my race, culture or class had nothing to do with that.
