I just had to chase my 8 year old son out of the room while the news was playing the Trump “Lisa” speech. It’s fucking upsetting that I can’t allow my son to listen to our President because our President is inappropriate, misogynistic and unpresidential. So unfair to parents.

I find exposing my kids to people and ideas we disagree with make them more convicted about their beliefs. It’s better to have kids be well rounded then ignorant to the other side.

I loved listening to the Presidents as a child, even the ones I didn’t like. One of my favorite gifts from my dad is a dual album 1 side JFK the other FDR inauguration speeches.
