You think this is bad, check out the gun show loophole. There are videos of guys walking into gun shows and walking out 1/2 hour later with an arm full of weapons with absolutely no background checks run.

Gun shows have dealers that are required to contact the ATF in order to sell someone a pistol, rifle, shotgun, semi auto, etc. Private sales between 2 individuals is a totally different ballgame.pic.twitter.com/G7wsRl9vF8

My mother came from Italy. She learned quickly that too many people in this country owned guns. She couldn't believe this country called itself a "free country" with so many people armed. The police in Italy didn't even have guns at that time. Ironically, her life ended by a gun!
