    Tell me again how mask mandates are an infringement on freedoms, but this isn't? Beyond being shameful, this law puts women, providers and others in danger.

    Private individuals in Texas can now sue anyone who performs or aids banned abortions, including doctors and even an Uber driver taking a patient to an abortion clinic. Plaintiffs, who need not have any connection to the matter, can win $10,000 in damages.

    We invaded Afghanistan to fight a terrorist group, Al Qaeda, that attacked us. As we leave, we're attacked by another terrorist group, ISIS, worse than Al Qaeda, & which didn't exist when we invaded. I've said it before: all the war on terror gave us was more war & more terror.

    Working in media is brutal and sadly today many former colleagues at HuffPost went through the experience of feeling carelessly discarded by an organization they gave so much to. Read this thread about their individual work.

    Nauseating. Some of the best people in the business -- some of the closest and most impressive friends I've made as an adult -- just lost their jobs and a secure paycheck in a time of economic upheaval. HuffPost will be weaker without them. I envy the newsrooms that hire them.
