    The past few days of severe conflict means there must be a greater response from the UK. The UK must recognise the State of Palestine to help a two-state solution. Settlement goods must be banned or clearly labeled so consumers can choose to avoid.

    What David says. We’ll be discussing this in the House of Commons later, but we need more than discussion. Breaking law must have consequences.

    Just for a moment please can I ask my fellow progressive Scots to park any squabbles over election this and Indy that and be truly ‘internationalist’ in expressing their outrage over what is happening to Palestinians in Gaza and the creeping takeover of East Jerusalem?

    Glad to hear will be debated in the House of Commons tomorrow. Here’s my letter from yesterday urging concrete action from UK government, not just warm words.

    My letter as Foreign Affairs Spokesperson on to UK government. More must be done to de-escalate tensions or I fear violence will get worse and spread.
