Update Thread: 1/ What's changed in over a month? I Heart has rebranded to "We Heart Seattle" , and have continued to throw away people's tents & belongings claiming they are "abandoned". Note below that they "cleared" 11 encampments and allegedly only found shelter for 2 ppl.

2/ This is also how their leader and founder, Andrea Suarez, feels about the unhoused suffering from mental illness. There was a point in time where this country forcibly committed those deemed "mentally unfit". The results were horrific.

There was a dead rat outside my building the other day. Not a good reason to demolish the block smh. We are living in a city. No one who is scared of rats or tents or the people who live in them should be running encampment outreach 🥵
