Shouting down a speaker, not wanting them to visit your school....why? What good does that serve? Is it only because she has an "R" next to her name? Shouldent these kids want as many people there to hopefully start the dialogue for change? Or only the change THEY WANT?

I am talking about the tweets about her, and the clash of opinions. Very disrespectful from most of you regarding the SECRETARY OF EDUCATION. "Literally no one asked for this" and "Good thing I was already planning on sleeping in tomorrow" does not move the change needle.

Respect is earned. I don’t respect someone who doesn’t respect my education. We tried to voice our concerns, but she didn’t answer. She ignored us. You didn’t see her nonchalant attitude towards our very real concerns, so please do not talk to me about respect.
