Refusing to acknowledge someone’s pronouns is a term called ‘willful ignorance’. Calling someone ‘woke’ with the intent of negative connotation is like hitting the trifecta of people I have no desire to associate with. It’s unfortunate bc it’s painfully basic & costs nothing.

It’s important to speak to how things should be, even if they’re not. It’s a good way to remind the people who feel the same way, ‘hey- you’re not alone. I feel this way, too.’ I like seeing results & not talking about ‘should’, but that has a purpose as well.

You know what would not be indoctrination? Telling people what you believe and why, not that it’s the only acceptable practice or that they’re going to be eternally tortured if they don’t believe what you believe. Just throwin that out there.

Tell me more about how you teach children about Jesus, the Bible, praying, heaven, hell, and how you go there if you don’t believe in Jesus, from the time of their birth, but how you’re not indoctrinating them with your beliefs.

I cannot think of a group of people more ideologically corrupt, morally bankrupt and detrimental to the long term sustainability of life than religious extremist republicans. EVERYTHING is about money & power to them, even the end of the world. It’s fucking bonkers.

Imagine being part of a group of Americans that are so pissed about being held accountable for profiting off of destroying the earth that you set the entire planet on fire just to ‘own the libs’. That’s how bad the Republican Party sucks. They offer nothing that isn’t a grift.

If your religion sells itself on love and acceptance, but resides on government boards to prevent human rights for others, you are in a cult. If you preach love & acceptance but only mean for a select group, you are a practicing member of a hate group.
